This Fall

  • Wednesday 3 October, 5 pm:
    “Speaking Up, Speaking Out:” presented by Historica Canada at the Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau. Charlotte will host five remarkable women as they share their stories and highlight the women who have inspired them on the road to equality in Canada’s past and present.
  • Sunday 4 November, 1 pm:
    Charlotte will be speaking about Canadian Women in the First World War at Cobourg Town Hall. This is part of the Armistice 18 Commemoration of the Centennial of the WW1 Armistice, which includes a new play by Hugh Brewster, “Last Day, Last Hour: Canada’s Great War on Trial" which runs from October 18 to November 11. Charlotte’s talk is sponsored by the Vimy Foundation’s Centennial Speaker’s Series.
  • Thursday 8 November:
    Charlotte will give the 2018 Harold Innis Lecture at Innis College, Toronto. Her theme will be, “Telling Stories in the Age of Historical Amnesia.”
